The fossil vertebra of Cryolophosaurus, a 190 million year old dinosaur was found in the Falla Formation,  Mount Kirkpatrick near the South Pole.

Heterodontosaurus was a small bipedal dinosaur that used to roam around the southern tip of Africa.
